Salon Manager & Creative Director Awards sit one layer below ownership, for the people who run day-to-day client experience and creative direction without necessarily owning the business — evidence here tends to be operational (client-experience metrics, team retention) and creative (signature looks, campaigns) rather than financial.
Hairstylist & Colourist Awards and Nail Artist & Makeup Artist Awards are the most portfolio-driven categories in the whole programme — a strong nomination is built on visual evidence of technical range more than anything else, supported by client testimonials and any competitions or editorial work already completed. Barber Professional Awards works similarly for individual barbers, recognised either through Rising Talent in Hair for earlier-career professionals or through strong individual evidence within a Best Barbershop submission. Beauty Therapist & Trainer Awards covers two related but distinct evidence types: client-outcome data for practising therapists, and structured programme evidence (curriculum, measurable results, mentee outcomes) for anyone building formal training within a salon or group.
